This photo shoot and accompanying video were part of a Public Service Announcement (PSA) campaign aimed at showcasing
the innovative use of immersive technology in VHA Recruitment Marketing. The shoot took place across two distinct locations—a small business airport and a VA Medical Center—each chosen to represent different aspects of the VHA’s dynamic environment.
The airport provided an industrial backdrop to symbolize the adaptability and cutting-edge nature of VHA professionals, while the VA Medical Center served as a powerful setting for illustrating the compassionate, patient-focused work that the VHA is known for.
The photos and video featured individuals interacting with virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) tools, demonstrating how immersive technology is enhancing training, improving patient care, and shaping the future of healthcare within the VHA.
The video element brought the campaign to life with a dynamic narrative, showing how technology is integrated into healthcare settings and recruitment efforts. The combination of impactful visuals and innovative storytelling not only engaged potential recruits but also earned recognition for its excellence in creativity and execution.
This campaign also won a 2024 Gold Award in the Marcom Creativity/Photography category.
